Animation Highlight - Enjoy Yourself

Keenon Ferrell describes his short time Enjoy Yourself as

a personal project I embarked on as a result of hearing a song by the same name play on an automated curated playlist while working on another project. The song itself is a remix version of the Michael Jackson song "off the wall", which happens to be one of my favorites by him. I immediately had visions flood my head of what I thought the perfect visual for such a song should be. Though this happens often, I decided to challenge myself to actually go through with creating a project and see what comes of it. Hope you all enjoy it as much as I did making it.

I felt that his short was worth sharing because it is traditionally animated (not like Teen Titans Go or something similar). The song selection is very soothing. Keenon is also a DiverseToons panelist and an SVA alumnus as well.. You can check him out at in the clip below.

This short film has a beautiful color palette. Keenon handles them all with care and with intention throughout the whole thing.

I LOVE when people venture out to make, complete and share their passion projects. Keenon had been sharing various progress about this short film for at least a year. Seeing the final result was well worth the wait.
