What is Adult Swim?

I came across this video on FloobyNooby by youtuber kaptainkristian. In short Adult Swim played a HUGE role in my formative years as it exposed me to in some ways an elevated Ren & Stimpy viewing experience. As a child I remember LOVING Space Ghost's talk show although most of the content went over my head. After watching the video below I felt really proud of the growth of Adult Swim and how it, in its own way contributed and pioneered its niche in the animation world.
